Rural leaders looking to grow their businesses to get through the recent turbulent times are invited to join the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme.
Now in its 15th year, the programme - facilitated by SAC Consulting, part of SRUC - will be run as a blended course mixing both in-person and virtual delivery.
It is open to rural business managers or owners looking to change their business model, learn new skills, embrace digital technologies and a new way of working, and respond to their customers’ needs.
There are 40 places available on the course, with participants paying £630 (plus VAT) and the rest of the costs covered by Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.
Led by key experts in their field, the blended programme includes four days of face-to-face sessions in groups of ten, and more than 25 hours of virtual workshops, team tasks, group discussion and one-to-one coaching sessions over six months.
Julia Latto, Scottish Enterprise Project Manager, said: “The Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme is especially designed for busy people with the blended format meaning minimal time away from their business.
“It will equip rural business owners and managers with the confidence and skills to make bold decisions and to get the best from themselves, their business and their team.”
Applications should be submitted by mid-August for the programme which will run from October 2021 to March 2022.
You can find out more about the programme in an introductory webinar led by the facilitators and leadership coaches. For more information, contact Alexandra Gibson at: alexandra.gibson@sac.co.uk.
