Due to continued expansion and growth, we are recruiting for a Agricultural/Dairy Engineer to join our busy team.

McCaskie (Agriculture) Ltd specialise in the installation and service of automated and conventional dairy systems together with milk cooling and processing technologies and full agricultural electrical installations.

For this position, a background in agriculture and knowledge of the industry would be preferred although not essential. Knowledge and experience of on farm dairy equipment and a background in electrical or automated milking systems would be preferred although not essential as training will be provided. An electrical and mechanical aptitude is an essential requirement.

Candidates need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Customer service is a key element to the role along with an ability to demonstrate good communication skills with a positive attitude.

The position will involve travel to sites across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Installation of dairy parlours/equipment

• Test finished products and system capabilities

• Keep necessary equipment operational

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or Electrical and mechanical aptitude 

• Strong problem solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
