Job specifications:
- Feeding and bedding of cattle.
- Assisting with twice a day milking of our dairy herd.
- Various tractor work including silage making, ploughing, slurry/fertiliser spreading.
- Cleaning and maintaining our machinery and steading.
- All aspects of animal husbandry.
- Any other duties that may be required.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Overtime may be available during our busy season.
- We offer a very competitive salary, pension and will invest in your future training and development.
- General hours Monday-Friday 0800-17:30. Every second weekend milkings and feeding.
The post requires an enthusiastic, motivated team member with the correct attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to develop new skills. This is an opportunity to pursue a career working on a dairy farm aiming to meet the highest standards of herd care and livestock performance.
