Dairy Person required to join the team as a key member of a modern and progressive dairy unit in the Biggar area of South Lanarkshire in Central Scotland.

 The farm has been subject to recent and ongoing investment to provide excellent, modern facilities with a focus on providing an exceptional environment for both animals and staff to excel.  The farm is currently milking 900 cows, with potential for further expansion.

The role requires a dedicated and passionate individual with a good knowledge of stock and a real attention to detail.  Extremely high hygiene standards are expected. 

You will be responsible for milking on a 70 point rotary parlour on a 3 times a day rota system,vaccinating and other health issues ie mastitis, welfare and husbandry related tasks.  Keeping accurate records will be essential.

 The successful candidate will have suitable experience in a similar role, a good work ethic and attention to detail.  Excellent communication, resilience and teamwork skills are required as is the ability to work alongside the team of managers and owners.

 A rumeneration package, commensurate with experience, is available for the right person in return for commitment, dedication and excellent standards.
