Assistant herdsperson required for busy dairy farm in Lanarkshire milking 300 cows, based near Hamilton.
Job will entail milking 2 times a day as well as calf rearing and overall general health and welfare of all livestock. Experience of AI and foot trimming would be an advantage.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and driven and able to think on their feet to join the existing team. We have an ongoing training scheme to improve existing skill sets and develop within the job role.
Accommodation is not available, however for the right candidate help will be given. We are situated in an area with numerous villages and towns and plenty of options.
