The plan is that we will meet on farm for a coffee etc and then attendees will hear from Tom and David about the last 3 years and the journey they have been on.
There will be a station in the milking shed, looking at and talking around the cows, robots, youngstock, nutrition etc etc
There will be a station at the new calf housing and the calf housing company will be there too to talk about this as well as Tom and David discussing the initial advantages these new calf pens have demonstrated.
The 3rd station will be talking about soils and soil structure etc which will be run by Jack from Rhizza
Attendess will then head to the hotel and have lunch and then Jack Wilson, Rhizza and David Campbell will be talking about the soil mapping and what the results were and what they are now and what have they done practically on farm based on the results from this and what has the impact of this been – ie MORE GRASS !
The group will be looking at carbon audit results and how it is important to make sure the right data is entered and how the impact of change and good practice on farm performances can and will impact your carbon footprint and why.
