Researchers at the James Hutton Institute would like to invite ‘conventional’* dairy farmers to join them in this project.
The project involves work shadowing where JHI researchers spend time with farm workers going about their daily routine to better understand the practices around antimicrobial use.
It would also involve sampling soils, water and slurry for which we can supply a full soil analysis. Testing faecal samples from people on the farm is also an option though we appreciate that this may not be for everyone unless they are interested in knowing their gut biome.
If you would like more information or would like to join us please contact
carol.kyle@hutton.ac.uk before the end of February 2023
