SAC Consulting have started the search for a new specialist Dairy Consultant or Senior Dairy Consultant, based in South West Scotland, following the departure of Csaba Adamik.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable consultant who can both build and deliver our services to dairy farmers and others in the industry, working closely with colleagues in our advisory offices, our vets and staff at the Crichton Royal Dairy Research Centre.  Candidates should be experienced in working with farmers on dairy cow nutrition, have a good understand of dairy enterprise costings, and good technical knowledge of herd management including calf and young stock rearing.  Work will mainly cover SW and central Scotland, with our other specialist, Lorna MacPherson, continuing to cover the northern part of the country.  We are keen to speak to people before starting a formal application process.  If you would like to talk to us about this post please contact Ian Riddell on 07884-118208 or email iain.riddell@sac.co.uk.
