The Soil Association is looking for organic farmers who milk record and are interested in alternatives to antibiotics to treat, and prevent mastitis in their cows.
All it involves is a data collection and farm visit and use of essential oil assessments on 2 cows during the year. The essential oil treatments are similar to udder-mint.
There is also an option of being part of discussion group called a farm stable school.
This is a European project called Relacs https://www.soilassociation.org/farmers-growers/supporting-you/the-future-of-organic/relacs/ and is aimed at all organic farmers, irrespective of their certifier, and is also being run in other EU countries. It is unaffected by Brexit.
Here is a link to the full page on the website which explains: https://www.soilassociation.org/farmers-growers/farming-news/2019/january/14/reducing-antibiotics-in-dairy-farming/
