Omsco Rebrand

Chief executive Martyn Anthony said: “We believe our new, more relevant, and relatable name will enable us to redefine and reinforce all that is great about organic dairy.”

Omsco has managed to maintain a steady milk price of 49p/litre throughout 2023 and it has been agreed by the board that it will continue to hold this price for September and October.

This puts it at a premium of more than 10p/litre above conventional farmgate milk prices, which have faced major cuts so far this year.

Organic cheddar will be made in partnership with Wyke Farms and will retail upwards of £3.79 for 200g of cheese.

The rebranded range is due to debut on 11 September at the Speciality Fine Food Fair in London.

Organic dairy products for export markets such as the US will continue under the British Organic Dairy Co. and Organic Kingdom brands.
