Calf/Youngstock person required

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our forward thinking dairy team near Earlston in the Scottish Borders.

We are looking for a calf/youngstock person with responsibility for all the calves and followers from birth through to first calving and the fattening bulls from birth to finishing.

Duties will cover all aspects of rearing dairy youngstock in an AYR calving system e.g. feeding, record keeping, recording weights and general animal husbandry.

High attention to detail and previous livestock experience is essential. Weekend work is required as part of a rota.

Either a 2 or 3 bedroom house is available with this position depending on requirements.
