A Preliminary Outbreak Assessment on bluetongue virus has been produced by APHA following the detection of two bluetongue BTV-8 positive cattle in Northern France. Please see Bluetongue Guidance for livestock keepers attached, it contains some useful information about the disease and some key actions that can be taken.
