The 'Women in Agriculture, Orkney – Forage Budgeting' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
The second virtual meeting of the Orkney Women in Agriculture Group will be 27th August 2020 at 8pm.
By now you have your silage and/or hay made and you might even have had it analysed. But have you made enough to see you through? Just how much does your farm need? And how on earth do folk figure out what they need for a whole winter? Take the guess work out of your winter feeding at this meeting.
We will cover various topics to help plan for the winter ahead. We will run a practical session on calculating forage stocks. Log-in with your own silage analysis to work out what forage and feed you do actually have on farm.
Join us for a relaxed informative meeting where there will be no such thing as a stupid question!
