The 'Women in Agriculture, Lanark: Animal Health' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
As we approach the winter there is never a more topical time to talk about animal health. As cattle move indoors following a summer at grass and tups go to the ewes, this is a key time to ensure your animals are in good health for the long winter ahead. We will be joined at this meeting by Megan Fergusson SAC Vet who will talk us through topical health issues to consider at this time of year for your herd and your flock. She will also give an insight into some of the common problems they see at this time of year in their Post mortem labs. This meeting will be a Go To Meeting format which will allow interaction from the group giving you an opportunity to ask Megan any questions relevant to your holding.
