The 'Stranraer Sustainable Dairy Group – More Milk Less Time' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
Having an efficient milking routine not only reduces time spent in the parlour and costs but also promotes good udder health. Tom Greenham, a vet with Advanced Milking, who specialise in udder health and milk quality will discuss how farmers can firstly measure their milking efficiency and then improve it by focusing factors such as cow flow to the parlour, pre milking routine and ACR settings. Getting all these things right, not only reduces costs but improves milk quality and cows health and welfare.
