The 'Lanarkshire Women in Agriculture Group- Nether Lethame' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
Join the Lanarkshire Women in Agriculture Group for a visit to Nether Lethame Farm by kind permission of the Fleming Family to discuss what lies ahead after BPS. Scottish Government have announced their first step in the transition “Preparing for Sustainable Farming” with funding available for Carbon Audits and Soil Sampling. We will discuss what this means for your business. We will also look for ideas for future topics for our meetings as well as hearing from Maryann Fleming on the journey of their “Jolly Jersey” enterprise at Nether Lethame retailing milk and ice-cream from their own herd of Jersey cows. A light lunch will be provided.
