Join us for this farm walk, hosted by Jim Baird, where we will be discussing the practical aspects of growing a successful business through producing and utilising grass and forage.
Jim runs 230 dual purpose milkers, most are a two-way cross using black and white cows with Norwegian Red and Montbeliarde with yields of around 8300 litres. 5000 litres are coming from forage with four cuts of silage made to ensure high quality.

The event will conclude with a light lunch (covid restrictions allowing) and the opportunity to talk with trade sponsors.
