Aimed at dairy farm owners and managers. AHDB Dairy invite you to a short 2 day course to build your confidence and develop your skills, enabling you to understand how your dairy business is performing and where to focus your efforts to drive profit and build a sustainable business.

The basics of running a dairy business
How to work out profit requirement - calculation
Reviewing previous performance – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
Key Performance indicators – which ones are relevant to your system
Making a workable business plan
Day two:
Forward budget
The balance sheet
Cashflow
Sensitivity analysis
Monitoring and adapting with change
New opportunity – partial budget
