The 'Demonstration event N2 sustainable livestock technology' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
On behalf of N2 Applied, McCaskie and Agri-EPI centre, we invite you to our demonstration event at
Parkend Farm, where we will demonstrate N2 Applied’s plasma unit and explain the working principles.
N2 Applied has developed innovative technology to reduce ammonia emissions from manure or biogas digestate and produce nitrogen fertilizer locally on the farm.
Take the opportunity to see the machine at work already now!
Agenda
10:00 Welcome at the farm
10:15 Setting the scene of the ammonia emissions challenge
10:30 Introduction N2 Applied and demonstration of the technology 12:00 Opportunity for questions and networking
12:30 End of the event
Please reply and send an email to henk.aarts@n2.no to register for the event
N2 Applied has developed a breakthrough technology enabling livestock farmers to process animal manure or biogas digestate and produce nitrogen fertilizer on the farm. This high-tech solution is based on processing the liquid with plasma technology, using only electricity and air. While reducing ammonia and GHG emissions, nutrients are recycled on the farm, leading to a closed-on-farm-nitrogen-cycle.
Increased nitrogen use efficiency and production on demand open new doors for organic-fertilizer-based precision farming. The solution implies a mind-shift in nutrient management and contributes significantly to reducing the livestock carbon footprint, compliance to environmental regulations and sustainably feeding a growing world population.
