Milking robotically is not simply about replacing a human and saving a salary, it also has to future proof your business. With good staff in short supply, technology grants could encourage more dairy herds to switch to robotic milking.
Robots require attention to detail, high standards to maximise efficiency and a high milk yield for repaying capital outlay and higher running costs.
