Young Stock / Calf rearing position

Due to a member of staff leaving for University a position has become available for a full time young stock assistant on our modern progressive dairy in South West Scotland. 

 

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, with experience or keen to learn as full training will be provided.

 

The role will involve taking responsibility for the calf rearing and young stock duties; from colostrum management, feeding, bedding, moving, dehorning, and treatments. 

 

Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.
