AHDB will be sharing timely and accurate updates on the current bluetongue situation, including technical information from expert speakers. There will also be an opportunity for Q&As. This event forms part of a series of webinars that we are running to provide regular updates and presentations from industry experts. The webinars offer vet practitioners and other stakeholders valuable technical information about BTV-3 that will help answer farmers' questions. Each webinar will start with a BTV update followed by a detailed briefing on a specific topic. We are collecting feedback on what is of interest, this will inform our programme. If you are unable to attend the webinar, please still register for it and you will be sent a recording following the event.
Hosted by the Digital Dairy Chain, this free event will showcase the support and funding available to anyone with an idea or solution to address a challenge faced by the dairy supply chain. You will hear from a variety of ongoing projects that have received Innovation Voucher funding on how they have developed new concepts with the support of the Digital Dairy Chain team. There is also the opportunity to find out about some of the larger research projects which the researchers from the University of Strathclyde have been working on with First Milk. The options available provide the opportunity to test and prevent diseases within your herd, improving the health of your cattle will improve their overall performance. Under the PSF scheme, there are four interventions for cattle which Helen will discuss to allow you to determine which two interventions are most important for your business to investigate further in 2024.

In 2023, World Milk Day showcased how dairy is reducing its environmental footprint, while also providing nutritious foods and livelihoods. The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) and AgriScot have been working in partnership for a number of years.
