General Farm Worker on Dairy Farm, Kilmarnock

 
Herd is mostly crossbred Fleckvieh/ Holstein and calves in Spring and Autumn 12 week blocks. Cows are rotationally grazed in summer and fed a TMR in winter, all replacements are home reared in new facilities.
 
Duties will include milking, feeding, calf rearing and some management responsibilities, working with the farmer and other staff on a flexible rota with regular time off.
 
Competitive salary for the right candidate and accommodation can be supplied if required.
 
DIY AI and foot trimming would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
