The 'Women in Agriculture: Lothians – Making an Idea a Success' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
Come along to Cairns Farm Estate to hear the experiences of Caroline Hamilton who has embraced the challenge. She will tell her story of going from lambing ewes to “I dos” under the same roof! We’ll look round Cairns Farm Estate’s new wedding venue (a work in progress!); and discuss steps you should take in business planning.
Karen Barr from Business Gateway will guide us through starting up in business or a new venture and will also discuss how Business Gateway are able to provide support.
Lunch will be provided by Hickory catering, and this event will be an excellent opportunity to have a look around an expanding family farming business and their exciting new venture.
