This is the second in a series of six meetings for the newly formed South West Dairy Focus Group, with the focus being on Calving Pattern and fertility.

For dairy farmers, the calving pattern and herd fertility are the greatest drivers of production on your farm.  The aim of this group is to share information between members to identify good practice and top tips which can have a positive impact on the sustainability & profitability of dairy herds in South West Scotland.

Group members will complete a simple questionnaire before the meeting and we will discuss and compare this data as a group to learn from each other and identify key areas where farms are performing well or where improvements need to be made.

If you missed the first meeting, you are still more than welcome to be part of the group, but please phone Alison Clark on 01776 702649 to be added to the group.  You MUST complete and return the questionnaire before the meeting.

Tea will be provided so booking is essential for catering purposes.
