Open discussion – SRUC: Our journey to becoming a game-changing University

SRUC Elmwood Campus, Carslogie Road, Cupar, Fife KY15 4JB
SRUC is on a journey to become a unique 21st century University that creates and mobilises knowledge and talent, with partners locally and globally, to benefit the natural economy.

We would like to invite you join us at the SRUC Elmwood Campus to discuss how SRUC’s status as a university will enhance rural communities and economies across Scotland. You will hear about our progress towards this goal and discuss how our new University model, with a strong regional footprint across Scotland, will make a real impact on the rural sector, and beyond, across Scotland and further afield.

This is an open public event. We will hear from the Chair of our Board, Sandy Cumming, and our Principal and Chief Executive, Professor Wayne Powell.

There will be plenty of opportunity to speak to representatives of SRUC’s senior leadership team and raise you own points through a question and answer session.

• 13:00 - Arrival (Teas and Coffees)

• 13:15 - Presentation by Sandy Cumming – Chair of the SRUC Board

• 13:25 – Presentation by Prof Wayne Powell, Principal and Chief Executive of SRUC

• 13:45 – Questions and Answers with SRUC’s Senior Leadership Team

• 14:45 – Networking and refreshments

• 15:30 – Event close

Please register for the event here.

We will also be livestreaming the event. To receive a notification about how to listen in to this event you can follow our social media channels or note you interest by emailing communications@sruc.ac.uk.
