Forestry Commission Scotland is keen to increase the area of new woodland, to help mitigate Climate change, increase the timber supply, create additional jobs, as well as diversifying farms to create a more resilient landscape.To help land owners and farmers get to grips with the idea of woodland creation and other Forestry Grants on the farm there are three evening talks, supported by the FCS Conservator, Doug Howieson, as well as Tweed Forum.
