The 'Field Lab: All Over Clover' event is one of many events listed. View all events.
The Soil Association brings land managers together with researchers to find real-world, practical solutions for tricky farm problems. Each field lab or DIY trial group researches an issue proposed by the farmers and growers themselves, testing out results across their own holdings. Each group meets up to four times for over a period of up to two years to track the progress of the DIY trial and compare notes.
These field labs aren’t about just discussing what’s known or relying on received wisdom. They’re about giving farmers and growers the chance to directly test out solutions in a practical, hands-on way. You can bring along your most innovative ideas and practices and we’ll help you test them out, with help from expert researchers and Soil Association Scotland specialists.
